Sanitary Barcodes: How It Helps Tracking

Barcodes have been used for a variety of purposes over the years. They are often used to track items in warehouses and stores, but they can also be used for other purposes such as tracking sanitary products.

In this blog post, we will discuss how sanitary barcodes help with product tracking during several stages of manufacturing.

We will also discuss the benefits of using these barcodes and how they can help your business!

What is a Sanitary Barcode?

A sanitary barcode is a type of barcode that is used to track sanitary products. These barcodes are often used by businesses that sell or manufacture sanitary products. They can be used to track the products in warehouses and stores.

Benefits of Sanitary Barcodes

The benefits of using sanitary barcodes are numerous. For manufacturers, they help track the product through the production process, including the firing; also helping with inventory management and product tracking.

By using sanitary barcodes, businesses can ensure that their products are of the highest quality and meet all customer requirements. Barcodes can also help businesses keep track of customer purchase history. This information can be used to improve customer service and sales.

Monitoring and Analysing Production Using Sanitary Barcode

Proper monitoring and analysis of production can be done using sanitary barcodes. This helps businesses to know the number of products that are undergoing a specific process.

For example, if a business wants to track the number of products that are being shipped out, they can use a barcode to do so. This information can be used to improve production processes and make them more efficient.

Here are the manufacturing processes wherein the sanitary barcode is scanned.

1) Barcode Application

The bar code is stuck to the sanitaryware just after the body preparation. Body preparation is the stage in the manufacturing process where the shape of the product is formed and covered in a powdered glaze. The product with the barcode is then sent for firing. The barcode is read by a machine as the sanitaryware goes down the production line and this information is then fed into a computer.

2) Glaze Spraying

During glaze spraying, a powdered glaze is sprayed onto the greenware (or formed raw clay). The purpose of glaze spraying is to give the product a smooth, glossy finish.

The above information is fed into the system which then analyses and provides data that can be used for further process improvement. This way, every time a new batch is produced, it can be monitored and analysed to see if there are any improvements that can be made.

3) Firing

After the glaze spraying process is complete and the barcode has been applied, the products are then sent to the kiln for firing, where it is heated to around 1,200 ℃. This process is known as firing. Firing gives the product its final shape and strength. The barcode is scanned after the products are taken out from the kiln and is sent for sorting.

4) Sorting and Packing

During sorting, the product undergoes inspection for quality. The products that pass the inspection are then packed and sent for shipping. The barcode is scanned one last time before the product is shipped out.

Sanitary barcodes are a valuable tool for businesses that sell or manufacture sanitary products.

The computer will keep track of how many items have been produced, when they were produced and where they are in the production process. This information can be used to improve efficiency in the factory and to monitor the quality of the products.
